The Masterpiece

August 24 - 25, 2013

The Milwaukee Masterpiece is a weekend-long event celebrating the rich history and beauty of automobiles and motorcycles.  Exhibitors join us from across the United States, Canada and Europe.

This family-friendly event gives attendees the opportunity to get up close and personal with the vehicles and their owners. Cast your vote for your favorite to win the People’s Choice Award!  Learn historical facts and listen to one-of-a-kind stories from the owners about their vehicles during the Seminar Series.  Described as a car lovers dream and the best event in the city of Milwaukee; The Milwaukee Masterpiece is one weekend you don’t want to miss!

August 24-25, 2013

The 1947 Kurtis-Omohundro Comet - lost to time for nearly 50 years - is America’s first documented postwar sports car.

Handcrafted specials have been around for nearly as long as our beloved automobile. Talented designers and fabricators in the pre and postwar era were conceiving, designing, building, driving, and in some cases racing their own inspired creations to the beat of their own drummer. Visually, many of these cars would take your breath away. Others might just make you ‘gasp.’ At the 2013 Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours D'Elegance, we'll be looking at some of the best postwar Handcrafted Specials. The class exhibits include: Sports Customs, Sports Cars, Hot Rods, and Custom cars.

This year we will also celebrate the following anniversaries:

  • 50th year of Ferrari Club of America

  • 50th year of Porsche 911

  • 60th year of Corvette

  • 100th year of Aston Martin

  • 110th year of Harley-David Motorcycles
